Lucknow: On the occasion of ‘Earth Day’, ‘Plastic Free Earth’ program was organized by the Geography Department of National PG College. In this program, Principal of National PG College, Professor Devendra Kumar Singh said that in the coming time, the use of plastic will be curtailed in the college because plastic flows in our body through various mediums like blood stream, and also in our internal parts. Sticks, and promotes disorders like cancer.
On this occasion, all the students of the college, Principal Professor Devendra Kumar Singh, Chairman of Geography Department Professor PK Singh, Alumnus of Geography Department of Manchester University Dr. Mehboob Sahana, Environmentalist Krishna Nand Rai, Satya Prakash Tiwari Director Saanvi Kalyan. Foundation, Associate Teacher Dr Ritu Jain, Dr Amit Kumar Gupta, Dr Abhishek Singh, Research Scholar Ritanshu Tiwari, Ashutosh Rajput, all pledged to end the plastic crisis and protect the health of every living creature on our planet.
National Post Graduate College was established in the year 1974 by the then Chief-minister of Uttar Pradesh, Late Chandra Bhanu Gupta. The college is situated close to the banks of river Gomti in the heart of the city has lush green campus and is surrounded by a number of major institutions – Academic and Administrative.

DDUKK has components of ICT, ITES and Banking, Insurance and Financial services.
