Lucknow: In a swift police action, accused Ankit Prajapati alias Sonu has been arrested for attacking a woman with a knife and looting valuables from her house.
Following the victim’s complaint, the police registered a case under serious charges and launched an investigation. The accused, after injuring the woman, fled with gold and silver jewelry stored in her house.
Based on the arrested accused’s disclosure, the police recovered the looted jewelry along with the knife used in the crime.
The arrest was carried out by a team led by SHO Thakurganj, Shrikant Rai. The accused has been sent behind bars, and further legal proceedings are underway.
