Lucknow University to Host 91st Annual Conference of the Indian Mathematical Society in 2025

Lucknow: Department of Mathematics Lucknow University has been selected to host the prestigious 91st Annual Conference of the Indian Mathematical Society (IMS), marking a significant milestone for the institution. The announcement was made by the General Secretary of IMS, Dr. M. M. Shikare, following a Council meeting held at MIT World Peace University, Pune.

This international conference, will take place in December 2025, where Professor Vivek Sahai, Head of the Mathematics Department at Lucknow University, will serve as the Local Organizing Secretary. The Academic Planning Committee (APC) meeting to finalize details is scheduled for May/June 2025 at Lucknow University.

IMS, one of the oldest and largest scientific societies in India, boasts a membership of over 6,500 scholars and researchers. Its annual conferences provide a platform for discussions and advancements in the field of mathematics.
