Lucknow: Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and Education, Government of India, Jayant Chaudhary held a meeting with the officials of the Basic Education Department and did a departmental review. During this, he took information about PM Shri and PM Nutrition Scheme and advised the departmental officials to make the efforts of the government more effective by conducting programs like Preetibhoj. During the review meeting, the officials also put forward their views and requested to increase the honorarium of cooks.
Additional Secretary of Government of India Vipin Kumar visited Vidya Review Center in the morning and got to know its working system. He has appreciated the way VSK works. It is worth mentioning that the VSK located in Lucknow is the second centre in the country, before this the VSK centre was established in Ahmedabad (Gujarat).
Jayant Chaudhary reached PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya in Gomtinagar directly from the airport. Here he visited an exhibition. In the exhibition, the students had presented the models prepared by them.
