Bareilly: A review meeting of the progress of Jal Jeevan Mission and Amrit Yojana was held in the auditorium located in Vikas Bhawan under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Ravindra Kumar.
While reviewing the progress of Jal Jeevan Mission and Amrit Yojana in the meeting, instructions were given to the concerned officials to complete the work of overhead tank and road repair on time. Instructions were given to take legal action against the contractors who do not complete the work and give wrong information about the completion of the work.
In the meeting, the Executive Engineer Jal Nigam was instructed to take necessary action against those contractors whose work has been shown as complete and money has been given to them. Expressing displeasure over the slow progress of the works of OST, instructions were given to improve it as soon as possible.
In the meeting, the Executive Engineer Jal Nigam was instructed to hold a meeting with all the contractors under the chairmanship of the Chief Development Officer, in which they should be told how to work and the meeting of the contractors who are absent should be held the next day. Chief Development Officer Jag Pravesh, Executive Engineer Water Corporation Kumkum Gangwar, contractor and other concerned officials were present in the meeting.
