Tel Aviv: The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have found a cache of weapons in the maternity ward and MRI center of Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza. IDF has given this information.
“Soldiers seized Kalashnikov rifles, explosives, mortars, grenades and numerous other assault rifles from the hospital’s maternity ward and MRI center,” the IDF said in a statement Monday night. The weapons were hidden among the medical equipment.
The IDF further said that soldiers killed several militants who attacked them inside the hospital.
According to the IDF, Hamas is systematically and cynically operating from hospitals and other such locations, using civilians as human shields.
