Lucknow: The IILM Academy of Higher Learning, Lucknow, hosted the grand inauguration of Consilium x IILM Model United Nations 2025 on October 12, 2025, amid great enthusiasm and dignity. Organized in collaboration with Consilium, the conference aims to equip youth with practical exposure to international diplomacy, policy-making, and global leadership.
IILM Academy, a reputed management institution offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in management and commerce, continues to groom future leaders and entrepreneurs. Consilium, on the other hand, is a leading platform that promotes dialogue, policy thinking, and the spirit of global cooperation among youth.
The opening ceremony was graced by distinguished guests—Amitabh Kumar, IRTS officer, author and social worker, and Prashant Kumar Trivedi, senior expert with over two decades of experience in media planning and execution. Both guests were warmly invited by the Director General of the conference and IILM student, Hitesh Trivedi. The event was anchored by Manya Srivastava.
The ceremony began with the traditional lamp-lighting ritual followed by the welcoming of chief guests. The dignitaries shared inspiring thoughts with the participants. This was followed by committee introductions, presentation of executive directors, and the formal address by the Director General.
The two-day conference will conclude on October 13, 2025, during which participants will be honoured with awards such as Best Delegate, Special Mention, and Honorable Mention.
With a powerful and motivating opening, the Consilium x IILM MUN 2025 has set the tone for an engaging and impactful experience for young minds.
