Ahmedabad — Blending thunderous emotion with raw musicality, Indian rock duo Mr.GNG has unveiled their much-anticipated album After Us, The Flood, now streaming on all major platforms. A sonic journey of twelve powerful tracks, the album is a cathartic exploration of personal turmoil, healing, and hope — a storm that breaks into sunlight.
Described by the band as their “most personal work to date,” the album weaves together 7-string guitar shredding, intricate vocal harmonies, and genre-defying rock experimentation. It dives headfirst into themes of fear, loneliness, and abandonment, gradually building toward moments of self-acceptance, inner strength, and gratitude.
“This album is our most personal work to date. Songwriting was both a battleground and a lifeline for us,” says Mr.GNG. “Through these tracks, we’ve confronted our struggles and celebrated our growth. We hope listeners find their own stories in the music and realise that even after the flood, there is a path forward.”
A Standout Single: Paralyse
The album’s lead single, Paralyse, features a gripping collaboration with international artist Rudy Ayub. The track is a bold release of frustration, marked by searing guitar work, emotionally raw vocals, and a sense of breaking through stagnation. The official music video for Paralyse will drop on April 12, 2025.
