Lucknow: A two-day national seminar titled “Interrelationship between State, Society, and Nation: Indian Perspective” was held at Lucknow University. Jointly organized by the Department of Political Science and the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), the event witnessed participation from scholars across the country.
The closing session was graced by State Education Minister Rajni Tiwari, Vice Chancellor Prof. Alok Kumar Rai, HoD Prof. Sanjay Gupta, and seminar convener Dr. Jitendra Kumar. In her address, Minister Tiwari highlighted the pivotal role of education in national development, aligning it with the government’s vision of “Antyodaya se Sarvodaya.” She emphasized that the National Education Policy aims to integrate Indian values into the academic framework.

Prof. Rai congratulated the Political Science Department’s newly appointed faculty and praised the seminar’s success. The event concluded with the national anthem, in the presence of faculty members and students, including prominent professors and scholars from the department.
