Her cries were heard by local residents, who quickly informed the police about the situation.
Responding to the call, Sub Inspector Pushpendra Singh, in-charge of Dudhiya Peepal Chowki, rushed to the spot. He rescued the newborn and immediately took her to Dasna CSC for a medical examination. The authorities made efforts to trace the girl’s family, but no one came forward to claim her.

Moved by the situation, Sub Inspector Pushpendra Singh and his wife, Rashi, decided to adopt the little girl. The couple, who got married in 2018 and have no children, saw the discovery of the baby on Durga Ashtami as a blessing.
