Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Bharat Ratna former Prime Minister Late. Atal Bihari Vajpayee had laid the foundation of modern India. Along with becoming the Prime Minister of the country three times, he had removed the political instability of India. CM Yogi said that Atal, born on 25 December 1924, had a public life of about six decades which was completely spotless. He took Indian politics to new heights. Describing Atal as the undisputable king of Indian politics, CM Yogi said that he was identified as a universally accepted face in Indian politics.
CM Yogi garlanded the statue of Bharat Ratna former Prime Minister Late. Atal Bihari Vajpayee located in Lok Bhavan on his sixth death anniversary. During this, while talking to journalists, he said that Atal had given the model of good governance, infrastructure and rural development to the country. CM Yogi said that the Antyodaya programs run in Atal’s government demonstrate his foresight.
Paying tribute to the memories of Atal, CM Yogi said that Atal started his public life in independent India under the guidance of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay. In 1957, he was elected MP for the first time from Balrampur (presently Shravasti). He said that Atal had the opportunity to go to the Lok Sabha 10 times in a row and to the Rajya Sabha twice, in which he was elected MP from Lucknow five times. CM Yogi said that Atal is not among us, but his memories, his poems and his values and principles of Indian politics will always give us a new inspiration.
