Ayodhya breaks global pilgrimage records

Ayodhya: Ever since Shri Ram Lalla was consecrated in the grand Shri Ram temple built on the birthplace of Lord Rama, a flood of Ram devotees has been making a beeline for Ayodhya. In just 48 days, 1 crore Rama devotees have had darshan of Shri Ram Lalla. This data is from 22 January to 10 March. In the world, such a large number of people are not reaching the religious places of any religion. Vatican City, the largest religious place of Christians, receives about 90 lakh people in a year, while 1.35 crore people visited the holy place of Muslims, Mecca, last year.

The Pran Pratishtha ceremony took place on January 22 and from January 25, 20 Aastha special trains from across the country kept coming to Ayodhya carrying more than 50 thousand devotees. Due to the arrival of about one lakh people daily in Ayodhya, Railways made preparations on a large scale. On an average, 2 lakh devotees are coming to Ayodhya every day and having darshan of Shri Ram Lalla.
