Lucknow: All eyes were on the results of Uttar Pradesh in the Lok Sabha elections. Now if we look at the results and trends, the Samajwadi Party has made a big dent in the seats of BJP here. This time BJP has suffered more loss here than in 2019. Samajwadi Party has won 37 out of 80 seats.
Apart from this, six seats came in the account of Congress. While in the exit poll, BJP was seen getting 65 to 70 seats in Uttar Pradesh, but it was limited to only 33 seats. While Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav has won his seat Kannauj by 170922 votes. At the same time, his wife Dimple Yadav has won from Mainpuri. Dimple has defeated BJP’s Jaiveer Singh by a huge margin of 2,21,639 votes. Apart from this, his brother, nephew all registered victory.
Mulayam family occupies the seats of UP
This time in the Lok Sabha elections 2024, five members from the family of late Mulayam Singh (Netaji) have reached Parliament together. Among those who won the election are Akhilesh Yadav from Kannauj, Dimple Yadav from Mainpuri, Aditya Yadav from Badaun, Dharmendra Yadav from Azamgarh and Akshay Yadav from Firozabad. Now 5-5 MPs from the same family will be seen in the Lok Sabha.
This time everyone’s eyes were on Ram Gopal Yadav’s son and SP candidate Akshay Yadav and Aditya Yadav from Firozabad. While Akshay won by a margin of 89,312 votes. At the same time, Shivpal Singh Yadav’s son Aditya Yadav won by 34991 votes from Badaun.
It is worth noting that Azamgarh seat was one of the most talked about seats in UP in this election. Dharmendra Yadav, son of Abhay Ram Yadav and nephew of late Mulayam Singh Yadav, has won from here. He defeated BJP candidate and Bhojpuri artist Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirahua by 1,61,035 votes. In this way, all these five members of the Saifai family will be seen in the Lok Sabha from SP.
