New Delhi: There is anger among the students over the alleged irregularities in the NEET exam. Meanwhile, the students staged a sit-in at Jantar Mantar in Delhi. During this, hundreds of students present raised slogans and demanded that the exam be cancelled and held again. The students have demanded that the whole matter be investigated and the exam be held again.
NSUI supported the students
NSUI supported the protesting students. Harsh Vihar resident Vikas, one of the protesters, said that our demand is that first of all the counseling should be stopped and the exam should be held again. The student told that he had got 629 marks in the exam and the rank was 49515. The student says that my rank should be between 12 to 16 thousand. It is clear from this that the exam has been rigged. Patna Police also said that the paper has been leaked, 13 people have been arrested.
However, NTA is not accepting it. Another student Nikhil said that our demand is that the NEET exam should be conducted again and the exam should not be conducted again by NTA.
Demand for re-examination
A case has also been registered in this matter. Our demand is that the exam should be conducted soon, we should get justice. Protests of student organizations are going on across the country against the allegations of rigging in the NEET exam. In this case, all the student organizations have demanded to dissolve the National Testing Agency and re-conduct the NEET exam and to conduct a fair investigation of the whole matter from the central government.
It is worth noting that recently the results of NEET UG- 2024 examination conducted by NTA were released. After the results were released, the students allege that there has been large-scale rigging and irregularities in it. This is the first time that 67 students are toppers in the results released. 7 students in the first place have come from the same center in Haryana.
