₹400-Crore Hyperscale Data Centre to Come Up on Yamuna Expressway; UP Strengthens Digital Hub Vision

Lucknow/Greater Noida: In a major boost to Uttar Pradesh’s digital infrastructure, a ₹400-crore hyperscale data centre will be established in the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) area. The project, promoted by BK Sales Corporation, will have a capacity of around 7,000 server racks and is expected to significantly strengthen AI, cloud computing, and digital services in North India.

YEIDA CEO R.K. Singh handed over the land allotment letter for five acres to the company. The facility will be developed in two state-of-the-art buildings and completed in phases, with commercial operations targeted within 18 months of land transfer. Once operational, it is expected to generate direct employment for about 100 professionals.

The data centre will support startups, IT firms, government institutions, and digital enterprises by providing advanced storage and processing infrastructure. Green energy solutions, energy-efficient cooling systems, and advanced power management technologies will be integrated to reduce carbon emissions.

The project gains strategic advantage from its proximity to the upcoming Noida International Airport and strong fiber connectivity.

Aligned with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s trillion-dollar economy vision, the investment is seen as a step toward positioning UP as a global digital innovation hub.

Additionally, Italy-based Simplast Group has announced a ₹70-crore manufacturing unit in the YEIDA region, further boosting foreign investment and industrial growth.
