Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh’s youth-centric development model under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken centre stage at the India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025, where young entrepreneurs from the state are showcasing a new wave of innovation, skill and enterprise. The growing participation of youth at this prestigious national platform reflects the impact of government schemes that have transformed young job-seekers into job creators.
This year, UP’s pavilion at IITF has emerged as a symbol of the state’s growing entrepreneurial ecosystem, backed by initiatives such as Rozgar Melas, the CM Yuva Programme and the flagship One District One Product (ODOP) scheme. These programmes are equipping youth with training, financial support and market exposure, enabling them to build sustainable businesses rooted in local strengths.

The Rozgar Melas are connecting thousands of young people with employment opportunities, while the CM Yuva Programme focuses on skill development, mentorship and resource support to help them launch their own ventures. Beneficiaries participating at IITF shared that the scheme has given them both confidence and capability to become independent entrepreneurs.
The ODOP initiative—now being replicated by several other states—has been a game changer, helping young innovators turn their district-specific traditional crafts and skills into thriving business models. Several young exhibitors at IITF 2025 credited ODOP for enabling them to scale up production, access new markets and secure national-level visibility.

Under the leadership of CM Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh is witnessing a paradigm shift. The government’s vision is to create a generation of youth who are not just looking for jobs but are capable of generating employment for others. From technological innovation to craft-based enterprises, the state’s young entrepreneurs are entering diverse sectors with confidence, creativity and global competitiveness.
UP’s strong presence at IITF and other major platforms like UPITS highlights the government’s commitment to sustainable and inclusive growth. Through skill enhancement, startup support and innovation-driven initiatives, the Yogi administration has created an enabling environment where youth can transform ambition into achievement.
With increasing participation from young entrepreneurs and a surge in successful startups across sectors, Uttar Pradesh is rapidly emerging as a major hub of opportunity, innovation and economic dynamism. The state’s youth-first development approach is paving the way for a stronger, self-reliant and future-ready Uttar Pradesh.
