Young Man’s Body Found in Field Near Kubhara Village; Police Suspect Homicide

Lucknow – In a shocking incident reported from Kubhara village under Nagaram Police Station limits, the body of a young man was found this morning in an agricultural field located approximately 500 meters from his residence, triggering an investigation into suspected murder.

According to police officials, a call was received at around 8:20 AM informing them about the presence of a body in Sahjram’s field, located on the roadside outside the village. Upon reaching the scene, the police team led by the Station House Officer discovered the body of Mahesh Kori, son of Shatrughan and a resident of Kubhara village.

Preliminary examination of the body revealed a belt—belonging to the deceased—tied tightly around his neck, and visible injuries on his head, indicating foul play. The police suspect Mahesh was strangled to death and possibly attacked prior to that.

Mahesh is survived by his parents, wife, a 15-year-old son, and four brothers.

The body has been sent for postmortem examination after completing the required inquest formalities. Meanwhile, the police have detained a few suspects for questioning and are actively pursuing leads. An FIR has been lodged, and further legal action is underway.

The situation in the village remains peaceful, and law and order are under control, the police confirmed.
