Yoga is India’s Timeless Gift to the World, Make it a Daily Practice”: Mission Director Pulkit Khare

Lucknow : Marking the International Day of Yoga, the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission (UPSDM) organized a special yoga session at its headquarters in Lucknow on Saturday. The event was held under the leadership of Mission Director Pulkit Khare, with enthusiastic participation from officers and staff members.

Opening the session,  Pulkit Khare extended heartfelt wishes to all on the occasion and emphasized the global value of yoga. “Yoga is an invaluable and eternal gift from India to the world,” he stated. “It paves the way for health, peace, and inner balance for all of humanity.”

In his address, Khare stressed that yoga is not just a physical discipline but a holistic practice that harmonizes the mind, body, and intellect. He encouraged everyone to go beyond just celebrating yoga on one day and instead incorporate it into their daily lives.

“Yoga enhances mental clarity, boosts productivity, and infuses life with positive energy,” Khare said. “Only a healthy individual can contribute meaningfully to building a healthy society and a strong nation.”

The session saw active participation from Additional Mission Director Priya Singh and other mission officers, trainers, and staff. Together, they performed various yogic exercises and pledged to make yoga an essential part of their personal wellness routines.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks and a collective resolution to promote yoga as a lifestyle practice for long-term health and well-being.
