New Delhi: The world-renowned Luv Kush Ramleela is set to enthrall audiences once again at the historic Red Fort grounds in Delhi from September 22 to October 3, 2025, with the grand Dussehra celebrations scheduled for October 2. The event was announced during a press conference held at Constitution Club, New Delhi, by the Luv Kush Ramleela Committee.
Committee President Arjun Kumar said this year’s staging will be “historic, divine, and spectacular,” bringing together India’s cultural, spiritual, and traditional heritage on stage. Bollywood actors Kinshuk Vaidya, Rini Arya, and Malhar Pandya will play the lead roles of Lord Ram, Goddess Sita, and Lord Hanuman respectively. The production will also feature 15 Bollywood stars alongside 140 theatre and television actors in various roles.
Kinshuk Vaidya, known for his performances in Karn Sangini and Vishnu Puran, expressed his joy at portraying Lord Ram at the iconic venue. Actress Rini Arya, who has worked in Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala and Vighnaharta Ganesh, said playing Goddess Sita was both “challenging and deeply inspiring.” Malhar Pandya, famous for mythological roles in RadhaKrishn and Veer Hanuman, described it as an honor to play Lord Hanuman.

This year, the Ramleela will integrate AI, 3D mapping, digital visual effects, and an 8-track sound system, ensuring a world-class spectacle. According to Committee General Secretary Subhash Goyal, more than 250 million viewers worldwide are expected to watch the live telecast through over 150 television and YouTube channels.

To enhance the festive experience, artisans from Kolkata, Mathura, Vrindavan, and Ujjain are creating magnificent stage and pandal decorations. A food court featuring delicacies from Old Delhi, Mathura, Agra, Banaras, Indore, Jaipur, Chennai, and Gujarat will also be set up, alongside entertainment rides.
Committee Chairman Pawan Gupta and Senior Vice President Satyabhushan Jain announced that, continuing tradition, a mega health camp will be organized on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday. Distribution of essentials for differently-abled individuals, sarees for women, school bags, and stationery for children will also take place, along with a community feast. The festivities will begin with devotional songs by renowned bhajan singer Kanhaiya Mittal, offering a spiritual prelude to the grand Ramleela.
With star power, cutting-edge technology, and cultural devotion, the Luv Kush Ramleela at Red Fort promises to be one of the most memorable spectacles of the festive season.
