New Delhi : Cricket fans across the globe are in for a nostalgic treat as some of the sport’s most celebrated stars gear up to return to the pitch for the World Championship of Legends (WCL) — a premier T20 tournament set to take place in England from July 18 to August 2, 2025.
Sanctioned by the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB), the WCL isn’t just another tournament—it’s a celebration of cricket’s golden era. It brings together retired cricketing legends from six of the world’s most decorated cricketing nations: India, Australia, England, Pakistan, South Africa, and the West Indies.
A Star-Studded Lineup
The competition features iconic names such as Yuvraj Singh, AB de Villiers, Chris Gayle, DJ Bravo, Kieron Pollard, Brett Lee, Moeen Ali, Alastair Cook, Suresh Raina, Shaun Marsh, and Hashim Amla, among others. Their return to competitive cricket is expected to rekindle memories of historic clashes and unforgettable performances.
“WCL is where nostalgia meets top-tier competition,” said Harshit Tomar, Founder and CEO of the World Championship of Legends. “It’s an honor to witness these heroes back on the field, inspiring fans across generations. This season promises to be nothing short of legendary.”
