Lucknow: The Institute of Management Sciences (IMS) at University of Lucknow successfully organized a one-day workshop titled “The Art of Getting Hired” to equip students with essential employability skills.
The workshop focused on mastering resume building and interview preparation—two critical aspects of career readiness. Conducted under the patronage of Vice-Chancellor Prof. J. P. Saini and the leadership of OSD Prof. Vinita Kachra, the event reflected the institution’s commitment to bridging the gap between academia and industry.
The programme was meticulously coordinated under the guidance of faculty coordinators Dr. Vasudha Kumar and Dr. Priyanka Srivastava.
The keynote speaker, Kaushal Singh from Imarticus Learning, shared valuable insights drawn from his extensive industry experience. He guided students on crafting impactful and “winning” resumes, adopting effective interview strategies, and understanding current industry trends.

MBA students from IMS participated enthusiastically, engaging actively throughout the session. The workshop concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where students sought personalized advice on career transitions and personal branding.
The initiative proved to be a significant step in enhancing students’ professional readiness and confidence as they prepare to enter the competitive job market.
