Lucknow: The Gomtinagar police have cracked the sensational case of a woman’s murder, arresting two accused — Devendra and Suraj Pal — whose shocking confession has revealed the sequence of events leading to the crime.
According to the police, the incident stemmed from a dispute over demands for physical relations. During interrogation, Devendra admitted that he had asked the woman for sexual favors, to which she agreed only on the condition that he provide her alcohol. Subsequently, the woman, Devendra, and Suraj went to Suraj’s hut, where they consumed liquor together.
After drinking, the woman refused to engage in physical relations, triggering an argument over money. The dispute escalated, and in a fit of rage, the two men allegedly pushed her. The woman fell, hitting her head on a wooden plank, causing her death on the spot.
Panicked, the accused dumped the body by the roadside before fleeing the scene.
Lucknow Police have arrested both suspects and initiated necessary legal proceedings as the investigation continues.
