Intelligence agencies are also getting many important inputs in this regard, which has increased the concern about the security arrangements for the Maha Kumbh to be held in Prayagraj next year.
Therefore, it has been decided that in view of the bad situation abroad at present, no person, vehicle and goods will be able to enter Prayagraj without checking at all interstate borders and inter-district borders. Entry will be allowed only after checking and frisking with the help of ultra-modern equipment. Let us tell you that last time 25 crore devotees came to Kumbh, whose number is estimated to be more than 45 crore this time.
Of these, 95 percent will come by road, 4.5 percent by rail and 0.5 percent by air. The government has decided to stop the devotees by creating huge holding areas in the border districts.
