Lucknow: In preparation for the upcoming Alvida and Eid festivals, the Western Zone Police carried out a flag march to ensure security and maintain law and order. The march was led by DCP Western Vishwajeet Srivastava, along with ADCP Western Dhananjay Kushwaha and ACP Chowk Raj Kumar Singh.
The flag march covered several sensitive areas, starting from Tile Wali Masjid and extending to Bada Imambara and Chhota Imambara. The police took to the streets with a heavy security presence to assure residents of their safety during the festive season.
Personnel from PAC (Provincial Armed Constabulary), RRF (Rapid Response Force), Thakurganj Inspector Shrikant Rai, Chowk Inspector Nagesh Upadhyay, Wazirganj Police, and other police station forces actively participated in the march.
Authorities have urged citizens to celebrate the festivals peacefully and cooperate with law enforcement to ensure a harmonious and safe atmosphere in the city.
