Wanted Warrant Accused Arrested by Mal Police in Lucknow

Lucknow: The Lucknow Police Commissionerate has achieved another success in its ongoing drive against wanted offenders with the arrest of a warrant accused by the Mal Police Station under the North Zone.

According to Press Note No. 2921 dated December 26, 2025, the arrest was made in compliance with a non-bailable warrant issued by the court of the Additional Sessions Judge (NI Act), Lucknow in connection with a cheque bounce case.

Case Details

The non-bailable warrant was issued in Warrant Case No. 114262/22, registered under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, related to Mal Police Station, Lucknow.

Acting on court directions, the Mal police team conducted a raid on December 25, 2025, at the residence of the accused in village Saidpur, Majra Madwana, Police Station Mal, and successfully arrested the warrant accused.

Arrested Accused

The arrested accused has been identified as:

  • Deo Dayal, son of Late Dwarka Prasad, aged about 55 years, resident of Village Saidpur, Majra Madwana, Police Station Mal, Lucknow, by occupation a labourer.

Legal Action

Following the arrest, the accused has been taken into custody and further legal proceedings are being carried out as per law. The police have confirmed that the arrest was made strictly in compliance with judicial orders.

The successful operation was carried out by the team of Police Station Mal, Lucknow, led by:

  • Sub-Inspector Abhay Kumar

  • Constable Bhagesh Kumar

Police officials stated that such actions will continue to ensure the execution of court warrants and to uphold the rule of law. The Lucknow Police Commissionerate reaffirmed its commitment to taking firm action against absconding and wanted individuals.
