Vivekananda Polyclinic & Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow Organizes Free One-Day AYUSH Medical Camp

Lucknow – Under the guidance of Swami Muktinathanandaji Maharaj, the AYUSH Department of Vivekananda Polyclinic & Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow, organized a one-day free AYUSH consultation and awareness camp on Saturday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Patients benefited from free medicines and expert consultation during the camp.

The event marked the 22nd consecutive AYUSH camp at the institute, offering free registration, consultations, and, wherever possible, free medicines. The camp provided specialized care in Ayurveda Panchakarma, Yoga & Naturopathy, Homeopathy, Unani, Acupuncture, Acupressure, Reiki, and Pranic Healing. Patients suffering from joint pain, arthritis, spinal disorders, skin conditions (including vitiligo and psoriasis), hair and beauty problems, obesity, diabetes, cardiac ailments, respiratory issues, and digestive or liver disorders availed of the services.

As part of its commitment to public health awareness, the AYUSH Department has also been extending Ayurvedic systems of treatment to rural areas, ensuring accessibility to affordable and holistic healthcare. In comparison to the rising costs of other medical treatments, the institute has been providing low-cost, simple, and effective remedies to underprivileged patients through such regular camps.

At this camp, 77 patients received free consultations, including 20 in Ayurveda, 33 in Homeopathy, 22 in Yoga & Naturopathy, and 2 in Acupuncture.

The initiative reinforced the institute’s mission of promoting AYUSH practices and making healthcare affordable, accessible, and holistic for all.
