Focus on Stakeholder Registration, EoI, and PRN Modules for DDU-GKY 2.0
Lucknow : In a significant move towards strengthening rural skill development, the Ministry of Rural Development’s Rural Skills Division, in collaboration with the National Informatics Centre (NIC-DRD), conducted a virtual orientation session to introduce and guide officials on the integrated portal for the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) and the Rural Self Employment Training Institutes (RSETI) programs.
The session was aimed at key officials from state-level Rural Development and Skill Development Departments, along with senior representatives from the State Rural Livelihood Missions (SRLMs) and State Skill Development Missions (SSDMs) across India. The primary agenda of the orientation was to prepare for the rollout of DDU-GKY 2.0, which aims to enhance transparency, efficiency, and accountability in rural skilling initiatives.
Participants were given an in-depth overview of three major components of the new integrated portal:
-
Stakeholder Registration
-
Expression of Interest (EoI) Module
-
Project Reference Number (PRN) Module
These features are designed to streamline processes, enable better tracking of projects, and ensure ease of collaboration among all implementing stakeholders.
From Uttar Pradesh, Pulkit Khare, Director of the Uttar Pradesh Skill Development Mission, and Priya Singh, Additional Mission Director, actively participated in the session, along with other senior officials associated with DDU-GKY. They emphasized the state’s commitment to leveraging the new platform for improved implementation and outreach of skill development schemes in rural areas.
The government envisions that this integrated digital approach will make DDU-GKY and RSETI programs more accessible and result-oriented, offering enhanced livelihood opportunities to rural youth through structured and monitored skill training initiatives.
