Viksit UP @2047: Youth Enthusiastically Present Roadmap for Future Growth

Lucknow: The Yogi government’s campaign “Samarth Uttar Pradesh – Viksit Uttar Pradesh @2047” is fast turning into a public movement, with people across the state actively contributing ideas for development. So far, more than 1.9 million suggestions have been received through government outreach and feedback portals.

Wide Public Participation
Nodal officers and eminent citizens have been visiting all 75 districts, engaging with students, teachers, farmers, entrepreneurs, businessmen, self-help groups, workers’ unions, media, and the general public. These interactions not only highlighted the state’s development journey over the past eight years but also invited people’s feedback on future priorities.

The response has been particularly strong from rural areas, though urban residents have also participated in large numbers. Youth, in particular, have shown remarkable enthusiasm in shaping the vision for 2047.

Key Focus Areas: Education, Health, Agriculture
Public suggestions reveal education as the top priority, with emphasis on reforms, vocational training, use of new technologies, and learning foreign languages. Health services expansion, better implementation of welfare schemes, and modernisation in agriculture have also emerged as major concerns.

In agriculture, suggestions include introducing farmers to modern technology such as AI and IoT, upgrading mandis, and improving storage facilities.

Regional Diversity in Participation
The highest number of responses came from districts such as Sambhal, Maharajganj, and Sonbhadra, while districts like Etawah, Firozabad, and Lalitpur recorded comparatively fewer inputs—reflecting stronger interest from rural and semi-urban regions.

Public Voices, Special Suggestions

* Kul Shresth Singh from Sultanpur called for shared responsibility in education among students, parents, and teachers, while stressing early vocational training and cultural values.
* Anjali Dixit from Mainpuri suggested linking farmers with modern technologies like AI and IoT, along with modernising agricultural markets.
* Brijesh Singh from Jaunpur proposed promoting rural tourism and setting up cultural and educational exchange programs between urban and rural children.

Vision Document by 2047
The government will analyse these inputs to draft the *Viksit Uttar Pradesh 2047 Vision Document*, ensuring that future development plans remain closely aligned with people’s ground-level needs.
