Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government is gearing up to introduce e-bike and bicycle services in the state, marking another step towards sustainable and eco-friendly transportation.
E-bikes are set to hit the roads in 15 cities, including Lucknow, Kanpur, Varanasi, and Prayagraj. This initiative aims to provide a cost-effective and environment-friendly commuting option to residents while reducing vehicular pollution.
As part of the plan, the government has sought details regarding proposed routes and charging stations to ensure the seamless implementation of the project. The initiative is expected to enhance last-mile connectivity and improve urban mobility across key cities.
