Lucknow: As the Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre completes 11 years in power, Uttar Pradesh is set to play a pivotal role in the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) national outreach campaign titled “From Resolution to Achievement: 11 Years of Modi Government.”
In a virtual briefing led by BJP National President J.P. Nadda, along with senior party leaders B.L. Santosh and Sunil Bansal, the focus was on ensuring that Uttar Pradesh sets the benchmark for this campaign across the country. The briefing was attended by UP BJP President Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary, who has already mobilized party units across the state.
The campaign, which runs till June 21, aims to bring the Modi government’s flagship initiatives and achievements to every household—with Uttar Pradesh as a key implementation ground, given its size, political significance, and diversity.
“From World Environment Day (June 5) to International Yoga Day (June 21), and even marking 50 years of the Emergency, Uttar Pradesh will lead by example,” Chaudhary said. He emphasized that special attention will be paid to Operation Sindoor, a central initiative that has seen notable implementation success in UP.
As per directives, state, district, and mandal-level committees in Uttar Pradesh are being finalized by June 3, ensuring a decentralized and deeply rooted campaign structure. A state-level workshop was held on June 2, and district-level workshops will wrap up by June 5.
In UP, each mandal will host a ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabha’, inviting citizens to pledge for a developed India. Additionally, ‘Mohalla Chaupals’ in cities and ‘Gram Panchayat Sabhas’ in villages will focus on localised interactions and feedback.
Beneficiary registration camps are to be set up in all 403 Assembly constituencies of UP, with a major push for 100% enrollment of senior citizens under the Ayushman Bharat scheme, given the state’s large rural and ageing population.
BJP’s UP unit, known for its well-oiled grassroots machinery, has been tasked with showcasing how Central government schemes—from PM Awas Yojana to Ujjwala, Jal Jeevan Mission, and Startup India—have transformed lives across the state.
With over 20 crore citizens, 75 districts, and a politically charged environment, Uttar Pradesh’s execution of the campaign will likely shape the national narrative ahead of the next general elections.
