Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh is all set to welcome its first-ever Box Park — a unique lifestyle and entertainment destination — coming up near Barabanki, along the Lucknow–Ayodhya Highway (NH-27).
The UK-based Box Park International, known globally for transforming shipping containers into vibrant community spaces, is investing approximately ₹110 crore in this project. The upcoming park aims to combine retail, dining, entertainment, and cultural experiences — bringing a global concept to the heart of Uttar Pradesh.
What Makes Box Park Unique
Unlike traditional malls, Box Park offers a street-style, open-air experience. Designed using recycled shipping containers, it will feature trendy cafés, boutique stores, and pop-up restaurants alongside event zones for live gigs, performances, and open-air movie nights.
The project will also include a swimming pool, sports arena, and dedicated family zones, making it a day-long hangout destination for visitors from Lucknow, Barabanki, and beyond.

Located just 26 km from Lucknow and 4 km from Barabanki city, the site has been strategically chosen for its proximity to the fast-developing Ayodhya corridor, which is witnessing rapid tourism growth.
Construction is already underway, and the Box Park Barabanki is expected to open its doors by 2026, adding a new flavour of leisure and lifestyle to the Lucknow–Ayodhya route.
