Security personnel were felicitated for safely returning lost valuables of passengers
Lucknow: Managing Director of Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Sushil Kumar felicitated honesty and dedication in the administrative building of Metro today. He felicitated the Store, Operations, Security, TOM and Housekeeping departments by giving awards and ‘Employee of the Month’ for the months of October and November.
Sushil Kumar felicitated Prashant Singh, Assistant Chief Controller (Operations) (Grade-I) with the ‘Employee of the Month’ award for November 2024. Prashant Singh is working in OCC Kanpur where he is also handling the additional charge of Training Coordinator.
Sudha Singh, Junior Engineer was felicitated with the ‘Employee of the Month’ award for October 2024. He has good knowledge of UPMRC’s inventory and by conducting timely tenders and bidding, he maintained the stock in the store department as per the requirement.
Security personnel honored by the Security Department for the months of September and October-
On 25 September 2024, Pankaj Yadav received the award for safely returning the lost purse of a passenger at Badshah Nagar Metro Station, which contained Rs 2120 and other essential items, to the metro passenger.
On 24 October 2024, a metro passenger’s bag was left behind at Munshipulia Metro Station, which contained Rs 16 thousand, ATM and other essential items, it was returned to the passenger with the help of Pintu, the security personnel deployed there. Pintu was honored for the month of October for his honesty and dedication.
Tom operator for the month of September and housekeeping staff for the month of October were awarded-
Yogendra Singh is posted as Tom operator at Charbagh and Hussainganj Metro Station. He was awarded for the month of September for his extraordinary dedication and time commitment in work.
Putti Lal has been handling cleaning work in Metro Colony for a long time. He gradually has good knowledge of machines and chemicals. He was awarded for the month of October for keeping cleanliness in his work area by understanding his responsibility.
