Lucknow: The 42nd All India KD Singh “Babu” Men’s Invitation Prize Money Hockey Competition, organized by Regional Sports Office, Lucknow under the aegis of Sports Department, Uttar Pradesh, is being organized from 04 to 12 October 2024 at Padmashree Mohd. Shahid Synthetic Hockey Stadium, Vijayantkhand, Gomtinagar, Lucknow.
The seventh match of the competition was played between Indian Oil vs CISF in which Indian Oil defeated CISF by a one-sided margin of 3-0. In the 37th minute of the match, Gurjinder Singh from Indian Oil’s team converted a penalty corner into a goal and opened his team’s account with a score of 1-0. In the next third minute, Sumit Kumar scored a brilliant field goal to make his team’s score 2-0. Again in the 57th minute of the match, Arman Qureshi from Indian Oil team converted a penalty corner into a goal and gave his team an unbeatable 3-0 lead. This score remained till the end.
The eighth match of the competition was played between CAG Delhi and Navy in which CAG Delhi defeated Navy by a margin of 4-2. In the 8th minute of the match, Manish Yadav from CAG Delhi team scored a brilliant goal from a penalty stroke and opened his team’s account with a score of 1-0. In the very next minute, Prashant from Navy team scored a field goal and gave his team a 1-1 draw. In the 27th minute of the match, Kuldeep scored a field goal for the Navy team, giving his team a 2-1 lead. In reply, CAG Delhi team scored a penalty corner in the 40th minute, Rohit scored a field goal in the 50th minute and Deepak scored a field goal in the 59th minute, making their team’s score 4-2. This score remained till the end.
