UP Transport Department Suspends Trade Certificates of 25 Vehicle Dealers for Registration Irregularities

Lucknow – In a stringent move against vehicle dealers exhibiting negligence in vehicle registration processes, the Uttar Pradesh Transport Department has suspended the trade certificates of 25 dealers for a period of one month. These dealers will be prohibited from selling vehicles until July 3rd. This action follows a previous suspension of five dealers for similar reasons.

Additionally, the Transport Department has issued show-cause notices to 50 other vehicle dealers who displayed laxity in examining registration applications between January and May. These dealers had previously received warnings but failed to rectify their practices.
