The duo’s whirlwind 131-run stand turned the contest into a one-sided affair.

Put in to bat first, Kashi Rudras posted a mammoth 224/3 in 20 overs. Opener Abhishek Goswami added 29 runs with Sharma for the first wicket before falling to Zeeshan Ansari. From there, Sharma and Ahmed unleashed a storm of boundaries, thrilling the crowd with clean hitting. Towards the end, Saksham Rai chipped in with a handy 22 runs. For Meerut, Vijay claimed two wickets while Zeeshan picked one.

In reply, Meerut Mavericks faltered early, collapsing to 49/5 inside 8.2 overs. Opener Abhay Dubey fell cheaply for 2 runs, while skipper Rinku Singh, fresh from a century in the previous match, managed only 1.
