Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB), Lucknow successfully conducted the first day of the written examination for direct recruitment to the posts of Computer Operator Grade-A, 2023 in a peaceful, fair, and transparent manner across Lucknow.
The examination is being held on November 1 and 2, 2025, for a total of 30,900 posts, including Computer Operator Grade-A, Police Sub-Inspector (Confidential), Police Assistant Sub-Inspector (Clerk), and Police Assistant Sub-Inspector (Accounts).
To ensure smooth and impartial conduct, District Magistrate Lucknow, Vishakh G, along with Joint Police Commissioner (Law and Order) Babloo Kumar, conducted surprise inspections of various examination centers, including Balika Vidya Niketan Inter College, Baba Thakur Das Inter College, Queen’s AS Inter College, and National PG College.
During the inspection, the District Magistrate reviewed center management, entry procedures, surveillance arrangements, CCTV functionality, security, availability of drinking water, sanitation facilities, and furniture arrangements.
He informed that on the first day of the Computer Operator Grade-A examination, the test was conducted successfully across 47 examination centers in Lucknow. Adequate arrangements were made at all centers, including the deployment of Static Magistrates, Center Administrators, Supervisors, CCTV monitoring systems, and police personnel, ensuring a fair and orderly examination process.
