Lucknow: The much-awaited Uttar Pradesh Mango Festival 2025 is set to be held from July 4 to 6 at Awadh Shilpgram in Lucknow, with a focus on showcasing the state’s diverse and high-quality mango varieties and related value-added products.
Minister of State for Horticulture and Agricultural Export (Independent Charge) Mr. Dinesh Pratap Singh has directed officials to ensure maximum display of unique mango varieties and mango-based products at the three-day event. The festival aims to serve as a vibrant platform for farmers, startups, entrepreneurs, and exporters to exhibit their produce and innovations.
Speaking on the upcoming celebration, the minister emphasized that the festival would not only highlight Uttar Pradesh’s horticultural strengths but also serve as a learning and networking opportunity for farmers and mango producers. “This festival will introduce participants to new technologies, processing methods, government schemes, and global export avenues,” he said.
The event will feature interactive sessions with exporters, scientists, mango cultivators, and horticulture experts from across India and abroad. These sessions will educate farmers on international standards of mango production and export practices, opening doors to global markets.

Minister Singh also stressed the importance of making the 2025 edition more diverse, organized, and inclusive than previous years. He urged officials to ensure that the event becomes a robust platform for training, networking, and market linkages, empowering farmers and agripreneurs alike.
Senior officials including Additional Chief Secretary of Horticulture and Food Processing B.L. Meena, Director B.P. Ram, Joint Director Sarvesh Kumar, and Rajeev Verma, along with other key department personnel, were present during the planning meeting.
With the countdown to the Mango Festival 2025 now underway, stakeholders across the state are gearing up for a fruitful celebration of the ‘King of Fruits’ and its growing contribution to Uttar Pradesh’s agro-economy.
