Lucknow – In a solemn ceremony at the auditorium of the Uttar Pradesh Information and Public Relations Department, Deputy Director of Information, Arvind Kumar Mishra, performed a wreath-laying on the portraits of Bapu Mahatma Gandhi and former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri, under the guidance of Director of Information, Vishal Singh. The occasion also featured heartfelt renditions of Gandhiji’s bhajans and Ramdhun, creating an atmosphere of reverence and reflection.
Addressing the gathering, Mishra extended greetings to the department staff on the occasion of Dussehra and the birth anniversaries of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. He emphasized that every individual should engage in self-reflection and follow the path shown by these great leaders. “Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state and the nation are progressing on the path of development. It is our duty to contribute to this growth while fulfilling our responsibilities,” he added.

The ceremony was attended by senior officers and staff of the department, including Sanjay Kumar Singh, Anurag Prasad, Atreya Mishra, Satish Bharti, Jitendra Pratap Singh, Chandra Mohan, Chandra Vijay Verma, B.L. Yadav, C.L. Singh, Sanjay Kumar, and Amit Kumar Yadav, who paid their respects and participated in the commemorative program.
