UP Government Transfers 7 IPS Officers, Including a DIG and an SP; 57 PPS Officers Also Shifted

Lucknow – The Uttar Pradesh government has transferred seven IPS officers, including a DIG and an SP, assigning them new responsibilities. The official transfer list, released on Wednesday, highlights significant reshuffles in key postings across the state.

As per the order, DIG Rules & Manuals Dev Ranjan Verma has been appointed as DIG Training, Lucknow. Earlier, he was transferred to the post of DIG Establishment at the DGP headquarters, but that order has now been revoked.

In other changes, Dr. Satish Kumar, Commandant SDRF Lucknow, has been attached to the DGP headquarters as Superintendent of Police. Abhijeet Kumar, ADCP Prayagraj Commissionerate, has been posted as ASP Rural, Meerut. Atul Kumar Srivastava, ASP Rampur, has been appointed DCP, Kanpur Nagar Commissionerate. Mamta Rani Chaudhary, ADCP Lucknow Commissionerate, has been posted as DCP, Lucknow Commissionerate. Shailendra Kumar Singh, ASP Amethi, is now DCP, Gautam Buddh Nagar Commissionerate, while Trigun Bisen, ASP Firozabad, takes charge as DCP, Ghaziabad Commissionerate.

In addition, the Yogi government has also transferred 57 PPS officers. Among the changes, Sambhal’s well-known ASP Anuj Chaudhary has been shifted to Firozabad as ASP Rural. Gopinath Soni has been appointed Additional DCP, Lucknow Commissionerate, while Pankaj Kumar Singh, ADCP East, Lucknow Commissionerate, has been transferred as Deputy Commandant, 20th Battalion PAC, Azamgarh.

These reshuffles are part of the state government’s ongoing efforts to streamline police administration and strengthen law enforcement across districts.
