Greater Noida: The Uttar Pradesh Fire Department stole the spotlight at the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS) 2025 with its high-tech stall, showcasing cutting-edge firefighting equipment and modern rescue vehicles. The display not only thrilled visitors but also demonstrated how advanced technology is revolutionizing disaster management and emergency response.
Among the highlights were the Victim Trace Camera, Thermal Imaging Camera, Breathing Apparatus Set, and the Fire Fighting Robot. These tools offered spectators, students, and entrepreneurs a glimpse into the challenges and innovations involved in emergency rescue operations.
The Victim Trace Camera is designed to locate individuals trapped under debris during fires or building collapses, providing critical information to save lives. Similarly, the Thermal Imaging Camera can detect people in smoke-filled or dark environments, allowing responders to act swiftly and safely.
The Breathing Apparatus Set drew special attention from students, illustrating how firefighters sustain operations in hazardous, smoke-filled areas while protecting their own lives. The Fire Fighting Robot captivated visitors as it can tackle fires in high-risk zones like chemical warehouses or oil storage facilities while maintaining a safe distance.
The department also exhibited state-of-the-art vehicles, including the Rescue Vehicle Van (RVV), Multi Disaster Response Vehicle (MRDVE), and Advanced Ventilation Ladder Vehicle Truck (AVLVT), recently deployed in districts such as Meerut, Gorakhpur, and Lucknow. These vehicles play a crucial role in both firefighting and organized rescue operations.
