LUCKNOW – The Director General of Police (DGP), Uttar Pradesh, Rajiv Krishna, presented cheques totaling approximately Rs 20 crore to the families of deceased police personnel and to officers who were disabled while on duty. The cheques were distributed under the Police Salary Package (PSP) program, a collaborative initiative with Bank of Baroda.
The PSP, established through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Uttar Pradesh Police and Bank of Baroda, provides financial assistance to police personnel who are either killed or disabled in accidents. The checks were presented to the grieving families and injured officers during a ceremony held on Friday, August 29, 2025.
