Lucknow — In a significant move to strengthen the agricultural ecosystem in Uttar Pradesh, Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi has announced a massive outreach campaign to connect farmers from all 75 districts directly with agricultural scientists and experts. The initiative aims to promote modern farming techniques, drone technology, and natural farming, while also enhancing awareness about key government schemes like PM-KISAN and crop insurance.

The campaign, titled “Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan” (Developed Agriculture Resolution Campaign), will be officially launched by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on May 29 at 11:30 AM at Lok Bhawan Secretariat Auditorium in Lucknow. The campaign will run from May 29 to June 12 across the state.

Focus on Farmer Empowerment and Sustainability

With the increasing demand for food security, climate resilience, and sustainable agriculture, the UP government aims to ensure knowledge, tools, and support systems reach even the smallest farmer in remote areas. By combining technology, training, and timely information, the campaign is expected to boost agricultural productivity and farmers’ incomes.

This large-scale initiative signals a robust intent by the state to modernize agriculture and build a more resilient rural economy, one farmer at a time.
