Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh MSME Minister Rakesh Sachan directed the departmental officials to focus on setting up MSME parks by identifying the land around the expressway. At the same time, the vacant land in the districts should be identified on a war footing by the Deputy Commissioner of Industries so that investors can easily get land.
He directed that the process of allocating vacant and inactive plots to new entrepreneurs/investors should be ensured by identifying them in the government industrial places of the state. Handholding of the projects started by the investors should be done in the course of the ground breaking ceremony. These proposals/projects should be continuously monitored at the level of Deputy Commissioner of Industries and Directorate of Industries.
MSME, Export Promotion, Khadi and Village Industries Minister of Uttar Pradesh Rakesh Sachan gave these instructions on the occasion of review of the MSME department through video conferencing at Khadi Bhawan here. He directed that all the District Industry Centers and Joint Commissioner Offices of the state should be beautified and strengthened to make these offices investor friendly. Separate rooms should be built for visiting entrepreneurs, as well as adequate manpower should be deployed by making the District Industry Centers IT based.
He directed that the scheme should be promoted adequately to ensure the progress of the Chief Minister’s Accident Insurance Scheme. All Deputy Commissioners of Industries should take special interest in the successful operation of the scheme. Efforts should be made as a campaign to increase the number of registrations on the Udyog Aadhar Portal.
Sachan directed that loans should be made available to the interested beneficiaries of Vishwakarma Shram Samman Yojana and ODOP Toolkit Yojana by covering them with various schemes. For the effective implementation of PM Vishwakarma Yojana, all Deputy Commissioners of Industries should make proper efforts by establishing coordination with all stakeholders.
The process of sending promotions and acquisitions in relation to the vacant posts in the department should be started immediately. Mr. Rakesh Sachan said that micro, small and medium industries have an important role in achieving the target of 01 trillion dollars for the economy of Uttar Pradesh. At present, there is a need to double the current growth rate of the MSME sector.
He said that all officers and employees should work by running a campaign to implement the schemes related to MSME on the ground. Special attention should be given to entrepreneurship development. The work being done by MSME will be reviewed regularly. There are immense employment opportunities in the MSME sector. After agriculture, the MSME sector has the highest employment opportunities in the state, for this, work should be done rapidly to increase the production of industrial units and establish new enterprises, so that more employment can be created.
Principal Secretary MSME and Export Promotion Alok Kumar, Secretary Pranjal Yadav, Industries Commissioner and Director Rajesh Kumar and other officers were also present in the meeting.
