Lucknow: Director General of Police Prashant Kumar directly interacted with the trainee soldiers on fair duty at the Mahakumbh area in Prayagraj. He said that it is a matter of pride to do duty in the world’s largest religious fair. All policemen should be sensitive during duty and will deal with devotees and saints with skillful behavior.
So that after returning from the Maha Kumbh Mela, people have a pleasant feeling in their minds. DGP Prashant Kumar said that even during the Corona period, the police had set an example of humanity. The police had cremated the bodies of those whose relatives had refused to even take the dead body.
The police will have to maintain a better image during duty in Kumbh as well. He stressed on providing timely training to the soldiers on AI and other state-of-the-art technology and equipment.
The DGP conducted a local inspection of the police stations and outposts under construction in the fair area. He also visited the police line in the parade ground and gave necessary instructions. ADG Bhanu Bhaskar, IG Prem Kumar Gautam, Mela SSP Rajesh Dwivedi etc. were present on this occasion.
