Lucknow– Amity School of Languages, Amity University Lucknow Campus, inaugurated a two-day workshop on the theme “Skill Development of Youth through Theatre.”
The workshop features renowned theatre trainer from the United Kingdom, Mr. Chris Walter, who will train students in the finer nuances of theatre arts. This initiative is being organized as part of Theatre Utsav 2025.
Welcoming Mr. Walter at the inauguration, Prof. (Dr.) Kumkum Ray, Director of Amity School of Languages, stated that “Theatre not only teaches us the art of living but also helps develop values of humanity, empathy, and the spirit of sharing.” On the first day of the workshop, Mr. Walter introduced students to the principles of Stanislavski’s acting techniques, alongside various body movement exercises and theatrical drills.
The workshop will conclude on Tuesday.
