Washington D.C. : Former U.S. President Donald Trump has once again raised allegations of widespread fraud in the 2020 presidential election, urging the Department of Justice (DOJ) to launch a full-scale investigation. Calling it “the biggest scandal in American history,” Trump demanded the abolition of mail-in and early voting while stressing the need for mandatory voter ID laws.
In a fiery post on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump wrote, “The 2020 Presidential Election, which was rigged and stolen, is a huge scandal. Look what happened to our country when a corrupt fool became our ‘President.’ I hope the DOJ pursues this with the same enthusiasm it deserves—for the biggest scandal in American history! If not, it will happen again, including in the upcoming midterms.”
Trump also criticized California’s Proposal 50, which deals with the redrawing of congressional districts, calling it “dishonest” and “manipulative.” He warned Republicans to “wake up before it’s too late.”
“No mail-in or early voting—yes to voter ID!” Trump added, claiming that “millions of ballots are being sent out” in California ahead of the November 4 ballot initiative vote, where early voting has already begun.

Meanwhile, former President Barack Obama has voiced his support for the ballot initiative, emphasizing the importance of participation and transparency in the electoral process.
Trump’s renewed demand comes five years after his loss to Joe Biden in the 2020 election—a result that was upheld by election officials and courts across the country, all of which found no evidence to support Trump’s claims of widespread fraud.
