Lucknow: Mayor  Sushma Kharkwal, on the occasion of the anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, attended the program organized by Uttar Pradesh Ex-Serviceman Joint Organization at Bridge Apartment Eldeco City, IIM Road, Lucknow as the Chief Guest and paid floral tribute to the picture of Kirti Chakra winner martyr Captain Anshuman Singh.  Mayor paid tribute to the picture of the martyr Captain and honored Captain  Ravi Prakash Singh , father of brave martyr Anshuman Singh, who was present in the event, by giving him a memento.

The Mayor expressed her heartfelt thanks and gratitude to the brave soldier brothers who sacrificed everything for the protection and glory of Mother India and also thanked everyone for inviting her to this event. During this, she called the martyred Captain the pride of Lucknow. Along with this, the Mayor also honored all the children by giving them mementos for the cultural presentations presented by the talented children of the soldiers.

On this occasion, State President of Ex-Serviceman United Organization  Ajmer Bahadur Singh, State Vice President  Arun Dwivedi, Regional President Central Surendra Nath Yadav, President RWA  Devyendu Banerjee, General Secretary  K. P. Singh and Councilor  Harish Awasthi, Councilor Representative  Rajesh Singh, Councilor Representative  Sunil Shankhdhar,  Malti Singh and a large number of soldiers and their family members were present.
