Amethi (Jagdishpur): A commendable step toward environmental protection was taken in Gram Sabha Mangouli, where residents, in association with Dhvani Foundation, carried out a tree plantation drive at multiple locations including the Krishi Bhavan campus, the premises of Baba Hari Narayan Junior High School, and around the newly constructed water tank.
The initiative, organized under the aegis of Dhvani Foundation—a social, cultural, and educational organization—was made successful with enthusiastic participation and cooperation from local villagers. The plantation drive aimed to raise awareness about environmental conservation, promote green spaces, and encourage sensitivity toward nature and cleanliness within the rural community.
The event saw active involvement and support from community members including Shivkaran Tiwari, Shivkumar Tiwari, Vijay Tiwari, Aditya Narayan Tiwari, Ram Ujagir Tiwari, Amarnath Tiwari, Hari Pratap Singh, Rakesh Mishra, Aditya Shukla, Ramapati Mishra, Ram Manohar Tiwari, Gaya Prasad Tiwari, Ankit Tiwari, Vishwanath Tiwari, Satyanarayan Mishra, Ramnarayan Mishra, and Udit Narayan Tiwari.
Richa Tiwari, President of Dhvani Foundation, emphasized that such community-led environmental initiatives are central to the foundation’s mission. “Our focus has always been to align people with causes that benefit the environment and society at large. This tree plantation is just one of many campaigns we aim to continue in the future,” she said.
The initiative also witnessed keen participation from children and youth of the village, who displayed great enthusiasm. After planting the saplings, all participants took a pledge to nurture the plants with dedication, ensuring a cleaner and greener environment for future generations.
The event not only added greenery to the village but also strengthened the bond between the community and nature, setting an inspiring example for other rural areas to follow.
