Traders in Uttar Pradesh Celebrate Operation Sindoor

Lucknow: A wave of jubilation swept across Uttar Pradesh’s business community following the Indian Army’s successful “Operation Sindoor”, which targeted and destroyed nine terrorist camps in Pakistan in response to the killing of innocent tourists in Pahalgam. Traders, under the banner of Uttar Pradesh Adarsh Vyapar Mandal, celebrated the operation with patriotic fervour, holding a massive ‘Tiranga March’ in Lucknow’s Aminabad market.

Led by Aminabad in-charge Himanshu Gupta, the march saw scores of traders and office-bearers carrying the national flag, chanting “Bharat Mata ki Jai” and playing traditional drums and nagadas to express their happiness. The event also featured the distribution of sweets and laddoos among participants, marking their pride in the Indian Armed Forces.

In a powerful show of nationalism, the traders raised slogans such as:
“Ghar mein ghuskar maara hai, qabr tumhari khodi hai,
Dilli ki gaddi par baitha baap tumhara Modi hai!”
and “Pakistan Murdabad!”

The gathering, attended by traders from multiple markets across the capital, extended heartfelt congratulations to the Indian soldiers, three service chiefs, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.

Key participants included Anila Agarwal (President, Women’s Wing), Amitabh Srivastava, Deepak Singh Chauhan, Yogesh Shukla, Neeraj Rastogi, Govind Gupta, Mohammad Arif, Mohammad Taqi, Mohammad Iqbal, Atul Gupta, Mukesh Agarwal, Sushil Kesrwani, Amit Dixit, Vijay, Aman, Lucky, and Pradeep Yadav, among many others.

Speaking on the occasion, Sanjay Gupta, President of the Uttar Pradesh Adarsh Vyapar Mandal, issued a statement applauding the courage and resolve of the Indian Army.

“Operation Sindoor is a shining testimony to the unmatched valour, bravery, and determination of our forces. We are proud of our army,” Gupta said.

He further added that:

“Today’s India is one of the world’s leading powers. The traders of this country stand firmly behind our armed forces and the government. We demand even stronger action against Pakistan.”
