Traders’ Body Hosts Holi–Eid Milan event, Promotes Communal Harmony in Lucknow

Lucknow | A vibrant Holi–Eid Milan ceremony was organized by the Uttar Pradesh Adarsh Vyapar Mandal, Ganeshganj Naka Bazar unit, celebrating unity and brotherhood among communities in Lucknow.

The event, held  at a hotel in Naka Chauraha, witnessed the presence of prominent व्यापारी leaders and members of the Vyapar Mandal.

Message of Unity and Brotherhood

Chief Guest Sanjay Gupta, State President of the Uttar Pradesh Adarsh Vyapar Mandal, addressed the gathering and highlighted the cultural and spiritual significance of both festivals.

He stated that Holi symbolizes the victory of righteousness over evil, while Eid al-Fitr marks the reward for a month of fasting and devotion. He emphasized that both festivals convey a strong message of unity, harmony, and mutual respect.

Gupta further added that strengthening social harmony is essential for the progress of all sections of society and praised the organizers for promoting Lucknow’s famed Ganga-Jamuni culture through such initiatives.

‘Lucknow Gaurav Samman’ Presented

On the occasion, Sanjay Gupta honored several office bearers of the Ganeshganj Naka Bazar unit with the “Lucknow Gaurav Samman” for their contributions.

Among those felicitated were unit president Tasleem Qureshi, general secretary Yash Singh, treasurer Abhay Agrawal, and patrons Pradeep Gulati and Sahil Siddiqui, along with several other members including Geeta Prajapati, Aamir Qureshi, Pappu Pyare, Sachin Agrawal, Ajju Khan, Anoop Gupta, Ambe Sahu, Rajendra Sonkar, and Pankaj.

Participation of Senior Members

The event also saw the presence of key officials including state treasurer Mohammad Afzal, city president Harjinder Singh, city vice president Radheshyam Chaurasiya, Chandrashekhar, and Manoj Agrawal, president of Bhootnath Market.
